Hiking
| There are
probably three* things, Switzerland is famous for:
|
- Excellent Chocolate
- Secure Banks
- The amazing Alps
|
| While living here, I take advantage of all three
of them. Yet, photos of the first two are not too
intriguing, so let's take a peek at the Alps - but
don't forget to check out the other two when you're
here. |

*) Of course, there
are many more - I wouldn't be living here if there
weren't. For simplicity, though, let's stick with
three. |

A view from the Jura mountains
(1400m). In the background the famous Berner
Oberland with Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In the
foreground sits my wife Andrea. |

In winter, we take
snow shoes to hike the Alps. Here's a view from
Pizol, 2500m, to the South. In the foreground,
Andrea in her red&black winter outfit. |
This is in the Glarner Alps at 1500m,
above of Vermol near the Walensee. From the marks
Andrea leaves in the snow you can tell that she's
using MSR snow shoes. |
